Strategic partnership between the Postgraduate program of IBI Kesatuan and the Faculty of Economics, Business and Accountancy Universiti Malaysia Sabah. During this program, representatives from the Postgraduate Program of IBIK, held strategic discussions with the Faculty of Business, Economics and Accountancy (FBEA), UMS.

Several key points were agreed upon regarding collaborative commitments: education, research, and community service.

In the field of education, both parties committed to collaborate through joint lectures, visiting professor programs, external examiner activities, and other academic initiatives.

In the area of research, both institutions agreed to work together through a matching grant scheme. The proposed research topic for collaboration in 2026 will focus on marketing.

In terms of community engagement, both institutions committed to jointly empower local communities through the development of micro and small businesses.

This strategic collaboration serves as a follow-up to the Letter of Intent (LOI) previously signed by both parties. Moving forward, these activities will serve as a strong foundation for the formalization of a higher-level strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
